Hand’Solo Records and Chris Wild are looking for beats appropriate for a new project they are collaborating on. For those who don’t know, Chris Wild is a Los Angeles DJ, producer and rapper probably best known for his emcee alter egos Megalynk 3 and Rhyme Mutilator. Under both names, he has released a number of singles and EPs, as well as numerous guest appearances on mixtapes and compilations including the Hand’Solo releases Bassments of Badmen: Volume 2 and Hokey Religions & Ancient Weapons.

Hand’Solo Records is a Toronto-based record label that has been intent on stretching the boundaries of hip hop since its first release, the Bassments of Badmen compilation, back in 1996. Since then, Hand’Solo Records has dropped vinyl releases from Buck 65, Sixtoo, Moka Only, Tachichi & Moves and Wordburglar, as well as a number of compilations and full-lengths from Wordburglar, Epic, Lexington + Whatevski, and more.

While a decision hasn’t been finalized on whether this collaboration project will feature Megalynk 3 or Rhyme Mutilator, things are leaning more towards the former at this point, but much will depend on the feel of the beats. The best beats would include hard drums, crunching samples, and spacey effects that will work with the galactic-sized battle raps of Megalynk 3, who doesn’t just decimate crews but instead destroys whole galaxies. I’ve included samples of a bunch of Megalynk 3 tracks all produced by Chris Wild and another of his production alter egos, Master Cylinder.

We’re hoping to get beats from a variety of producers that will suit the Megalynk 3 style…
