Finally! It’s here!
1984 is an unpredictable trek through a murky backdrop and with dark motifs plucked straight from George Orwell’s iconic, and sometimes romanticized, novel. East meets West as Moves, a Halifax hip hop legend, crafts the ideal score for Touch, an Edmonton rap vet, to examine numerous themes originating from the original book published in 1949. War, torture, betrayal, media, police reform, class inequities, and change are all subjects injected into this visceral exploration of some of the most important issues of 2021 and beyond.
