“This collaboration brings together Noblonski’s penchant for peaceful, piano-heavy production with the introspective lyrical leanings of his collaborators, resulting in a track that prioritizes raw honesty over polished pretense.” – Folded Waffle
We got a review for Noblonski & Nolto’s “Dandy Lions” featuring The Gumshoe Strut…
For the March edition of our listening party retrospective through the Hand’Solo discography in celebration of our 30th Anniversary, we’re going to listen to what I consider to be one of the most under-rated releases on the label, The Dirty Sample’s remix album, Joshua’s Dreamixes. We hope you will join us as we check out these awesome remixes together and discuss this album, rap music, and the other joys of life in the chat. RSVP here.
If you’re a Hand’Solo fan in Dublin, Ireland, go check out Mickey O’Brien on St Patrick’s Day at Four Provinces Brew Pub. Buy tickets here.

Indie Music Discovery recently did an online interview with Cold Camp. Here are the results:
Indie Rock Magazine‘s Seb Lapin has posted on social media his Best of February 2026, and Epic’s Heater In My Truck II, released at the end of the month, lands at #31.

“Gordski’s production moves with a low-end weight that feels like the heavy air of a basement studio. Each MC steps to the mic with a different perspective on the grind, yet they are unified by the shared reality of the underground.” – Folded Waffle
Another great review for Fortunato’s posse cut remix!

The second single from Noblonski & Nolto from their upcoming album, Amazing Saturday, a co-release with OTHAR and Saskatoon Rap Rap Music, is out now!

What makes the lions dandy is their devotion to dress and appearance. But, “Dandy Lions” abandons pretence and presentation. It answers the door in a bathrobe. In the evening. “Dandy Lions” is a pleading justification for letting things go, for procrastination, and for experimenting with different ways of living. Noblonski’s beat provides a peaceful and relaxing scene, in which Nolto promises he’ll simply continue to monitor the results of his dereliction, and The Gumshoe Strut struggles to balance and prioritize his time and attention. The result is a call to inaction: give up the things that don’t matter, and see what happens. Go gather more data.
The Dirty Sample’s remix abandons the peacefulness of the original and replaces it with a “sick day” spent in a dark basement playing video games, giving a new perspective to what data may be gathered.
Written and performed by Nolto and The Gumshoe Strut
Produced by Noblonski
If you love CDs with a side of mystery, this bundle is for you! For the March instalment of the $30 Bundles to celebrate our 30th Anniversary, we’re honouring the Compact Disc with this 5 CD mystery set. I will randomly select 5 CDs for you from the back catalogue using a patented dice roll system. But, I don’t want to double up on any previous purchases you may have made, so you have an opportunity to opt out of certain CDs if you include in the notes any you DON’T WANT to receive as part of this mystery set. I’m also willing to include ONE CD of your choosing (with some exceptions) if there is something specific you might like included within the 5 CDs. If no notes are left, you will receive 5 random CDs. A great bundle for the CD collector who enjoys surprises!
I also can’t confirm rumours that you will receive an additional 1 or 2 CDs determined by another roll of the dice.
Mysterious!
